I've been playing and working on guitars since 1985 and have played in many gigging bands over the past thirty plus years. I earned an AA in music from Mira Costa College in Oceanside in 1994, have a bachelors in Accounting from CSUSM a Masters in Tax from SDSU and also earned my CPA license in 2004. I've been working hard in business the past 25 years in the San Diego area. However, music and guitar are my true passions in life and at this point more of my work focus has switched to those things instead of bean counting, thankfully.

 

With that said, being an accountant has absolutely sharpened my eye for the details and this translates very much to working on guitars. From simple restringing, full set ups action, truss bar adjustment, nut height adjustment, radius adjustment, pickup swaps, fret jobs, new tuners, etc. etc., I've got you well covered. My pricing is very affordable as well when compared to most repair shops these days. Lord knows costs for everything have risen dramatically the past 5 years. My full guitar set ups run $90.00 for most acoustic and electrics and that includes strings. Floyd Rose is an extra $20.00.

 

My personal take is that every guitar has its own soul and I work to bring out its best. If you are struggling with a guitar that is hard to play, won't stay in tune or sounds bad, let me at it. If you want a full rebuilt guitar I can do that as well. I specialize in hot-rodding guitars, especially lower cost guitars, into badass playing, looking and sounding machines at affordable prices.
